Before you buy a ticket, be sure to read our Ticket Terms and Conditions . You’ll find them unlike those for any other event, especially some critical agreements related to image use, risk of injury or death, the prohibition of commercial activities, and other fun tidbits. Sure, reading Terms and Conditions isn’t super exciting, but since the use of a ticket means you agree to these terms, we need to be sure that you know what they are. Please note: The numbers on this page are approximations. We are being conservative in our planning, and adjustments will be made as needed (including adjustments to delivery costs, fees, and ticket insurance rates). Ticket sale numbers don’t necessarily reflect BRC’s population. This page will be updated if we make any changes to ticket sale information. Make sure your Profile is complete and that you know your login details. Each sale has a separate, dedicated registration period. Registering for a sale does not guarantee you access to a ticket or vehicle pass. Anyone who successfully buys a ticket in one of our sales is ineligible to participate in all subsequent sales for the year, regardless of ticket price. The only exception is buyers in the FOMO Sale who may also participate in the Stewards Sale. Unless otherwise stated, vehicle passes may only be purchased along with an event ticket. If you do not purchase a vehicle pass while purchasing your event ticket you cannot participate in another sale to buy a vehicle pass on its own. Unless expressly stated, only one order per person AND per credit/debit card is allowed. You may not use the same credit/debit card to purchase multiple orders. MasterCard and Visa are the only credit/debit cards accepted. Unless otherwise stated, all tickets bought through online sales are fully transferable and eligible for name changes. Tickets and vehicle passes may only be resold for face value, plus fees. Any tickets or vehicle passes being sold above face value plus fees will be canceled without notice or refund. See below for tips on fraud prevention and avoiding mark-up resellers. You do not need to create an account with our ticketing partner in advance of, or during, the purchase process. 2024 TICKET SALES AND PROGRAMS FOMO SALE Registration : January 31, 2024 at 12pm (noon) PST – February 4, 2024 at 6pm PST Sale starts: February 7, 2024 at 12pm (noon) PST Approximately 4,000 tickets are available: 1,000 at $2,500 each, and 3,000 at $1,500 each, plus applicable fees and taxes. You may purchase up to two (2) tickets total and one (1) vehicle pass per order. All items and orders purchased through this sale are subject to the taxes and fees listed below. Buying tickets in the FOMO Sale disqualifies you from purchasing additional tickets in the Main Sale, STEP, or OMG Sale. STEWARDS SALE Form Open: March 1, 2024 at 12pm (noon) – March 8, 2024 at 12pm (noon) PST Sale Period: March 13, 2024 at 12pm (noon) – March 15, 2024 at 12pm (noon) PDT Stewards Sale: The Stewards Sale ensures that those critical to the culture of Burning Man — crews for theme camps, artists, mutant vehicle owners / operators — gain access to tickets. This sale does not have an application process; identified groups leads will be contacted directly with detailed registration instructions. Those invited are guaranteed access to buy tickets during the 48-hour purchase window. Each invitee may purchase up to two (2) tickets and one (1) vehicle pass in this sale. Approximately 30,000 tickets at $575 each and 10,000 vehicle passes at $150 each will be available in this sale. Vehicle passes may not be purchased in excess of one (1) vehicle pass per two (2) tickets. All items and orders purchased through this sale are subject to the taxes and fees listed below. Buying tickets in the FOMO Sale disqualifies you from purchasing additional tickets in the Main Sale, STEP, or OMG Sale. Those who purchase tickets through the FOMO Sale may still participate in the Stewards Sale. TICKET AID PROGRAM Rolling Application Period: March 20, 2024 at 12pm (noon) PDT to June 5, 2024 at 12pm (noon) PDT The Ticket Aid Program offers 5,000 tickets at $225 each to people with qualifying applications, plus applicable fees and taxes. Awarded applicants will need to pay for their tickets online between July 22, 2024 and July 26, 2024. They are also eligible to purchase a $75 vehicle pass at the same time if needed. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received and awards are issued on a rolling basis. For more information about the Ticket Aid Program, please read through the Ticket Aid Program Page . MAIN SALE Registration : April 10, 2024 at 12pm (noon) PDT – April 12, 2024 at 12pm (noon) PDT Sale starts: April 17, 2024 at 12pm (noon) PDT Approximately 15,000 tickets at $575 each, and approximately 5,000 vehicle passes available at $150 each, plus applicable fees and taxes. You can buy a maximum of two (2) $575 tickets and one (1) $150 vehicle pass. All items and orders purchased through this sale are subject to the taxes and fees listed below. You can only register to buy tickets in the Main Sale if you have not previously bought tickets through the Stewards Sale, or the FOMO Sale. SECURE TICKET EXCHANGE PROGRAM (STEP) STEP opens: May 15, 2024 STEP pauses for the OMG Sale: July 21, 2024 – August 1, 2024 STEP closes: August 24, 2024 The Secure Ticket Exchange Program (STEP) facilitates the safe return and resale of face-value tickets that have been purchased directly from Burning Man Project. STEP provides a hassle-free, secure way of buying and returning tickets while avoiding scammers, counterfeits and scalpers, and keeps tickets circulating within the community. When details are finalized, we’ll post them on the 2024 STEP page . KID TICKETS Available: July 10, 2024 Kids and families have been part of Burning Man since the first burn in 1986 on Baker Beach. Children 12 and under still get in for free with their ticketed parents or legal guardians but need to have their own free print-at-home Kids’ Ticket. If you’re bringing multiple children 12 years old and younger, you’ll need a Kids’ Ticket for each of them. A link for Kids’ tickets will be posted here once they become available on July 10, 2024.
